Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Octarq. Because the Software is a digital product delivered immediately, the following applies.

Last updated: 11 August 2026.

This depends on how you paid, and it decides who to ask:

  • Orders through Polar — Polar is the merchant of record and issues the refund. Email us at [email protected] and we will authorise it; you do not need to chase Polar yourself.
  • Orders through Stripe — we are the seller and refund you directly.

Either way, start at [email protected].

If Octarq Pro or Elite isn’t right for you, request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing [email protected] from your purchase email. We’ll refund the most recent payment and revoke the licence.

You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not charged again. We do not pro-rate partial periods unless required by law.

If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid period on Cloud, we will refund that period’s subscription charge in full.

Cloud plans bill a subscription plus usage above the plan’s included allowance. Usage charges pay for resources already consumed, so they are not generally refundable — but two things protect you, and both are in the product rather than in this document:

  • Your spend cap is a hard stop, not a warning. If you set one, we do not bill usage past it.
  • Current-period usage and your projected bill are visible at any time, so a surprise should not be able to build up unseen.

If usage charges were caused by a fault on our side — a metering error, a duplicate charge, or a bug in our software — tell us and we will refund them. That is a defect, not consumption.

Eligible for the 14-day refund above. After 14 days, one-time purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.

Nothing here limits refund rights you have under the consumer law of your own jurisdiction, including the EU/UK statutory withdrawal rights where they apply to you.

Email [email protected] with your purchase email and order reference. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days.
