Self-hosted is the side where “unlimited” is an honest word.

The Cloud plans have quotas because every click, email and AI call costs us something. On your own server that cost is yours already, so there is nothing for us to meter — no click ceilings, no send limits, no seat counting. This is the real difference between the two sides, not a packaging trick.

ABOUT AI

Bring your own key — no licence required.

AI in Octarq runs on your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or local Ollama key, and that is part of the MIT core: it works on a plain open-source install with no licence at all. Elite does not sell you access to a model — it sells the pipeline built on top of one. Your tokens are billed by your provider at your provider's price; we never sit in the middle.
